Biography

My name is Davide Benvegnù, I was born on July 15th, 1984 in Trieste, Italy, and now I live and work in Hong Kong.

Currently I am the DevOps and Infrastructure Lead at Playstudios. Before I worked as DevOps Architect for Microsoft and GitHub.

I have been awarded as Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional) in ALM and DevOps for 5 time, in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2022, and 2023 .

I have been a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter for some time before moving to Hong Kong, with the Spartan Club Arezzo, and in HK with Impakt. I had to stop due to an injury.

I have a background in real-life motor racing (in Motocross, Supermoto, and Supersport) and now I sim-race, mainly GT4 and GT3 cars.

I also like the modern and contemporary art, especially abstract paintings, and photography. You can see some of my works on my Photography Website.

Lastly, and definitely not for importance, I run a YouTube channel about DevOps called CoderDave.
